You are your greatest competition through and through. Your challenges only become obstacles in your mind if you let it. At the beginning of the day and at the end of your evening you’re running a race within yourself mentally, spiritually, and physically. Utilizing your best assets works best when you stop allowing distractions to keep you from getting ahead. Let’s tap into why your greatest competition exists in your mind.
Every day your job is to get up and do your BEST! Your only competition is yourself. Can you be greater than you were yesterday? What did you learn that you can take with you today? There are no failed attempts, only lessons learned. Yesterday shows you where you were, today gives you the substantial opportunity to expound not only your business but your gift to this world! Your employees need you to show up conscious consistent daily. How is that done you ask?
1. Get rest – Sounds good right? Well rest allows you to execute your best decision-making skills. Rest gives your brain the down time it needs to accomplish goals effectively. You may need to complete a night journal. That allows you to download from your brain to paper every pressing thing that you only remember right when it’s time to go to bed. Because this will allow your brain the time to stop spinning. Find a podcast or YouTube channel to listen to. There are plenty of motivational or wind down topics that will either subliminally motivate you or calm you for rest. You can switch it up also. On the lesson learned days you can choose the motivation and, on the lesson taught days you can choose the calming videos.
2. Get rejuvenated- easier said than done I know right? Google affirming messages and make it your personal screensaver. Be sure to switch it up weekly so you don’t lose sight of what’s being said. You can sign up for inspiration at inspiringquotes.com and they will email you a new message daily. Allow someone else to speak life into you. It helps when you need to put that game face on to encounter obstacles. Knowing your greatest competition exists in your mind, you must give your brain some time to regroup.
3. Get results- How can you accomplish that? Find someone you can entrust with assisting you where you’re lacking so you have effective accountability. Take inventory of what you are great at. The things that you are not great at is where you bring someone else in. Check your favorite platforms and keep an eye on who’s buzzing around. Typically, within a couple of days you will come across someone who has knowledge for you and is willing to share information. No one person has ALL the answers. Utilize the expertise of another individual. But be mindful of where they end and you begin. Allow their energy to upgrade your confidence and reming you that your greatest competition exists in your mind. Even if it means you must pay for it *wink
